It is with great joy we share some of our family with you. All the grand kids are exceedingly smart and good looking - the parents aren't bad either.

"I'm a young at heart 43 year old; youthful with a lot of energy. Since 15 years old, my dream has been to learn to ride my own motorcycle.
On August 26 of this year, I was doing just that. However, I was in a bad accident ... dead at the scene. I spent six weeks in the hospital with 3 bleeds in my head, 19 neck and back fractures, a shattered pelvis, broken shoulder, and rib and sternum fractures.
I was revived only because I had motorcycle gear on from head to toe. I would not have survived the head trauma alone if I had not been wearing a helmet. Please...if you ride, WEAR GEAR!
I thank God every day I wake up for my renewed appreciation of life. My new goals this year are to live smarter, love more, and walk again."
I know our daughter would like the world to know to GEAR UP when riding a motorcycle. Wear all the protective gear you can. They make gear to keep you safer. It may just save your life!
There has been miracle after miracle as people - friends, coworkers, insurance companies, doctors, and many others - stepped up and offered assistance and help beyond belief! There are two wonderful people who need a special thanks for being with her through it all, they are her daughter and a friend, Stavros. Our daughter is thanking those who prayed for her. Keep up the prayers, please. She is making a miraculous recovery.
But most of all she wants everyone to wear full gear. She knows wearing full gear may save your life! She died on the highway and in the hospital but recovered due to God's blessing and to fantastic medical assistants on the road and in the hospital. She would have had no chance without full gear on. Her full helmet still looks pretty good and held up well. Because of her helmet, her face was not affected. Please pass on our daughter's plea to gear up. Lives can and will be saved by this simple but necessary safety procedure. Use your head to think - don't leave it on the highway!

This section is for our grand daughter who enlisted in the Navy in 2005. We are very proud of her. She has taken on responsibility and is going forward in a positive way. But this isn't just for her - but for all those that serve with pride and integrity. Sometimes this may be hard. As a former Marine, I did the best I could based on my youthful experiences. The service was a growth experience that is still influencing me in my life. For anyone who reads this, let it be known that God, country and family is still the reason our service people put their lives on the line for us. It is with great pride we - most in the nation - salute all of you who are serving or have served. God Bless you all!
