Normal Retouching and Print Finishing
Please look and read about our Basic Finishing included in the cost of each of your images. Other options follow the Basic Finishing and must be specified by their "option number", many of them included in the price of your images. We can do anything you may request. Please ask!
IMAGE FINISHING is an art and we spend much time to make you look your best. Below you will see how we finish images and what other options exist for you to choose. Guys, don't be concerned that you will look like a girl - you will just look very, very good. No matter, each person has specific things that we do to just make you look better. Not over done - just better. Yes, we want to know how you want to look before we do any part of your order. Girls, do you want to look completely natural or do you want to look like you have just been to a cosmetologist where you makeup looks like early evening makeup.
Basic 1: Original girl without any retouching done. This is the original, un-retouched, but beautiful picture of this young lady with a slight loop lighting. Note - lighting is the primary tool used to make a good image.
We want all the attention to go to your face and eyes in almost all cases. Each subject's face is studied during the session to determine the best way to light you for your facial characteristics and for the emotion and art we are trying to generate for you. Lighting is the foundation of the image process. We do all we can to make sure even the raw/original image looks good even when you see it as a proof. We fine tune any color cast on the image and start the retouching process of removing unwanted and undesirable imperfections in the images such as fly away and unwanted hair, intensify the eye color, make the black of eye deeper, clear up the white of the eye, and slightly brighten the teeth, intensify lip color, retouch and refine skin tone, etc. Make sure we know your desires.
Basic 2: Fly away hair removed from gals and guys.
Basic 3: Course retouching (zits, moles, creases, owies, eye bags, shine, etc.) on gals and guys is fixed or removed.
Basic 4: Lips intensified on gals.
Basic 5: Eyes intensified, red removed, eye high lights on gals and guys adjusted as needed.
Basic 6: Eye brows on gals intensified to set off their eyes.
Basic 7: Skin smoothed as needed for gals and guys. Guys must let us know about their facial hair, otherwise it may be lightened or intensified in the normal process of finishing the image.
Basic 8: Fine tune brightness and skin color on gals and guys.
All of the Basic steps above are done on all images, unless you let us know you have other desires, as we really do care and want you to look your best. Our slogan is "Our Business is ... Making YOU Look Good! Of course we listen to your wishes first and foremost. Following are additional options, many FREE with coupon, for you to choose if you so desire. Otherwise, this young lady's image is ready to print.
We can do anything! For instance, we can add appropriate curves to the body, or remove undesirable things in the image or things that are distracting to you in the image. Ask about all things you desire so we can advise you. Braces can also be removed. We do not do time consuming major things without your permission.
Additional Finishing Options:
In addition to the basic steps above you can choose to make your image as is or it can be in color, black and white, sepia, a mix of color and black and white, softened, sharp as a tack, painted, etc.. Any of the additional finishing options must be requested either directly by option number per below examples or by giving the finishing artist unlimited permission to do as the artist sees fit.

Option 32: B/W Neutral Blush - Any thing in an image can be color keyed. Here you see a slight blush on the cheeks and a heavier blush on the lips. The eyes are brown and show up on a larger print.
Painted Art Work
Any image can be made into a beautiful painted piece of art that will last for years. We want the whole image that you get on beautiful art paper to be of a consistent, long lasting, piece of art. We do different styles based upon your request. The brush strokes on the painting can show as much or as little as you want. We will consult with you when you order.

Painted Option 52: A combination of two techniques to get more emphasis on the Brush Strokes.
Painted Option 53: Abstract can be so you can see what you look like as shown here (This one has a kind of a comic book feel) or very, very abstract. You tell us what you like and we will create your one of a kind image.
