Destiny Church/DSSM Missionary Trip to Guyana, South America in May 2010
My name is Howard Lower and I know many of you would like to minister to the Guyana ministers and native people in the rain forest of Guyana, South America. We know these people are hungry for Jesus, our wonderful Lord, Savior and healer. I am on a team that will be going in May, when normally rain and flooding occurs along with high heat and humidity. We are not going on an easy trip. Included with these slightly less than ideal conditions are snakes, insects, bats, no inside or outside plumbing, no running water, no air conditioning, no modern electricity, health issues (aids is prevalent), malaria, etc. Yet, to Marv Marquette, our leader, and Ted the resident missionary, and the four Destiny School of Supernatural Ministry (DSSM) students, including myself – all of us can hardly wait to do as Christ commanded us to do. We are all anxious to go in His name. We believe in our hearts that great things will happen to those who Christ loves - no matter their situation. We know we are being obedient to what Jesus would have us do.
My personal goal is first and foremost to bring the Kingdom of God to all we come in contact with. We will walk the animal trails and boat (in a very small boat) some of the biggest rivers in the world to serve the Lord. To make you feel like you have been on this mission trip with us I will, on return, make up a DVD presentation for you so you can see what your prayers and monies have done. I will journal each day thinking of you, your prayers and your generosity. Through God and you this mission trip will happen. We all know God never gives up on us and I will not give up on those needing spiritual and/or physical healing. I go forward knowing God can and will do miracles. But, I need your support with prayers and donations.
