Wedding and Engagement page 1 of 1

To our past clients: When you call about a wedding, please let us know you're our client.

First, The Engagement, Love Story

Then, the Wedding

It was very hot this July 29 - perhaps for us humans about a comfort level of 110 degrees. Yet, the bride, Megan Singel who this day married Brian Estervig,  did not look like she even knew it was warm. The wedding was held outside the Wayne residence in beautiful River Falls, Wisconsin.

I cannot comprehend how Gail and Steve could keep this place looking so great! Steve said it is not too hard, he just puts Gail to work. Some would say Steve is somewhat humorous. See the pictures on the DVD and you will see what I mean. We know he did a little of the work because the tree broke his left hand. (Grin)

We have photographed and known the Estervig's for about twenty years. I was so sad when they moved away. Then, in '99 I got a call to photograph a wedding couple in a pumpkin patch at Fanny Hill. What fun! Then, in 2003, came a call to compose Beth's, Brian's sister, senior pictures. The costume for one of the plays was a hoot! It made a fantastic senior memory. Beth is now a lovely women looking with excitement to the future. Katy is such a wonderful young lady and I look forward to photographing her senior pictures next year. (Anyway, that's what they told me.) It was so great to see Steve's kids whom we met at Gail and Steve's wedding with the pumpkins and scarecrows. Chris is married to beautiful Katie (who is expecting soon) and they already have an adorable son, Isaac. Can you believe Steven (father Steve's son) is in the military and came to the wedding in camouflage? Heck, we didn't even know he was around. Well, he did clean up and guess what girls, he is a good looking lad. (Here's a deal for those in the service - feel free to come to our studio and we will do a session of you and your immediate family and give you a picture to send to your service person. Anyone who would serve to keep us free, deserves to have a great family memory.)

The two grandmothers on Gail and Steve's side were Hazel and Anna.  Hazel is Gail's deceased husband's, David (who died of cancer many years ago) mom.  Anna, Steve's mom, of course was there with a smile. And Linda's mom, MaryAnn, added to the fun. So we had all three grandmother's all looking marvelously young and vibrant. You can't believe it but all three also looked cool!

Linda and Pat, Megan's parents, added to the fun. Talk about wonderful kids on both sides - Megan's siblings Ryan (with Brenda) and Daniel (with Erin) fill out that side of the family. Oh yes, guess who started all this - that cute mother of Linda, Mary Ann. Looks sure run in the family. We enjoyed photographing all those memories and sharing your special day.

Megan and Brian wanted a mixture of images in both photojournalistic style and traditional. Some posed and some not. Over 500 images where taken of this wedding. We think you will love this small sample below.
